I rescued Tormund in 2017. My ex-wife and I had two female cats at that time and he adjusted very quickly. He was friendly toward our female friends but whenever one of the guys came over he would run and hide. I am the only male human he feels comfortable around. He also does not trust children and will swipe and hiss at them. In 2020 my ex-wife adopted a pitbull and Tormund did not take well to the introduction of a dog. He is currently living in my apartment in Frisco where I no longer reside. I regularly check in on him but feel guilty that he is left for many hours sometimes more than 24 without human interaction. I've attempted to move him toward my new residence but with large dog there it just is not the best living situation for him. It breaks my heart to part ways with him but I think a loving home that can give him the care and attention he needs is best. He had all his vaccinations updated in 2021. Lost all his records during the move after my divorce. He has a lot of energy and loves to run around at high speed and make funny sounds. He also loves to cuddle and be held like a teddy bear at bedtime.
