About Blaze

I would call Blaze a gentle giant. He is approximately 6 years old and 77 lb. We rescued him from some awful home living conditions. He was caged up in the basement and allowed to come out twice a day to eat and do his business. Over time we saw his health deteriorate and it broke our hearts. He had hot spots all over, a double ear infection and mange. Our hearts felt his cry for help. We asked the family if we could Foster him and bring him back to health. Over the last couple of months we have taken him to the vet, who was kind enough to prescribe medication for his ears and skin condition. His health has improved immensely and has given my husband and I a chance to see his personality. He is just a big baby wanting to play and enjoys the love and Company my family has showed him. I know that he is good with kids because my grandchildren have played with him. The reason I must seek adoption for him is that My husband and I are both in our seventies and are unable to take care of him. I had a stroke a few years ago and have ataxia. I just can't care for him like he needs to be.
