About Bloo

This is Bloo He is a 5ish year old Weimaraner. Looking to find a home for him that allows him to get his energy and anxiety out more. He is very well trained. Potty trained and knows several commands including: Sit, stay, lay down, place (to go to his bed), shake, be sweet (so he gently takes treat from your hand), heel (can be off leash walked just be aware of other dogs), and his release command is 'ok' which he uses constantly to eat, go out doors, etc. What he loves: -Hard bones to chew on -Comfy beds to lay in -Blankets to lay under and pull into his bed -Tennis balls -Fetch -Walks or lots of space to run around -His food What he doesn't like/other traits -Pets on face or head- occasionally he'll let you but mostly prefers neck, chest and back. -Alpha- he is an alpha dog and probably will not do well with another strong alpha. He has lived with kids, and other pets his whole life but needs good introduction and if they are high alpha they may not mix. -he is kinda leash aggressive towards other dogs. He takes commands well and will sit and stay when other dogs pass but gets whiny when they get near. When he is off leash this is not an issue- an example being he has been to dog parks off leash, dog daycare and boarding and free roams with other dogs and has no issues. He is just a high energy anxious guy who needs more time and energy put into him, We have put a lot of time, money, and effort into him if you can't tell by how good of a boy and well trained he is, but with two young kids and another on the way we are realizing that we may not be the best place for him to thrive.
