About Lattie Jo

Meet sweet Lattie Jo, A.K.A. Layla! Lattie Jo is a spayed six year old female border collie/Catahoula mix (we are told) . She's a really sweet, gentle, lovely dog and has many, many good qualities that will make her a great companion for some lucky adopters. She is a good combination of a medium energy dog with an on off switch. She loves people and has been friendly to everyone she has met. Lattie Jo absolutely LOVES going on walks more than anything. She's been easy to walk with just a flat collar. She doesn't pull but does do a bit of back and forth between sides until she settles down so she will need more leash work in her new home. She doesn't seem to be a barker and isn't destructive. She loves people and has been friendly to everyone she has met. Lattie Jo has no problem getting in or riding in the truck. She's excited to go! Front seat for a bit then asleep in the back seat of the truck. Lattie Jo will sit and shake and comes quickly when called but is a bit rusty on her other skills. She likes to explore, is very curious and has enjoyed all the new sights and smells. She sticks close to her foster parents and seems to mostly want to be with her people. She'll settle nicely in her bed but pops up again as soon as someone gets up. We suggest Lattie be placed in a home with no cats as she seems too interested in chasing them. We are still learning about her with other dogs, but so far she seems to be good with most dogs. Lattie Jo is presently being fostered in Silverton, Oregon.
