**Meet Skeeter - Cancer Survivor, Cuddle Expert, Paw-Raising Champion!** Looking for a pint-sized (well, 40 lbs of pure love) hero to steal your heart and your spot on the couch? Meet Skeeter! This 5-year-old Kelpie/Heeler mix-who only looks like she might be part coyote (we promise, no howling at the moon here)-has conquered more than most of us ever will. She faced down cancer like a total champ, kicked curable TVT to the curb with grace (and some well-earned chemo naps), and then celebrated her health by becoming a proud U.S. citizen. Talk about living the American dream! Skeeter is equal parts snuggler and goofball. She loves tug-of-war, casual zoomies, and making new friends-human or canine. That said, she gets along with other dogs *sometimes*-she likes playmates who match her energy. If she's in the mood to wrestle, they better be ready to bring it. But when it's time to rest, she prefers her space and expects her dog friends to respect that, too. Her signature move? The 'Paw of Request': one perfectly straight paw in the air (as if politely raising her hand in class) followed by the most convincing puppy dog eyes. Resistance is futile. She rides like a road trip pro, walks politely on a leash, adores kids, and is 100% patio-date approved. Got a brewery or brunch in mind? She's already in the car. She's also crate trained, house-trained, and heart-meltingly sweet. Skeeter's ready to trade in her past for a future filled with belly rubs, soft beds, and a forever family who'll love her as much as she'll love them. She's got the heart of a warrior, the soul of a snuggler, and one heck of a paw-raise-come meet your new best friend!
