About Penelope

UP FOR ADOPTION-PENELOPE This sweet girl came to me extremely skinny where you could feel every bone in her back and about to go into heat. I took her to the vet to be checked for a micro-chip but there was none. The vet determined her to be at least 6 months and 4lbs. They wanted her to gain weight before they spayed her. While waiting she went into heat. The poor girl was miserable for a week but was spayed as soon as it passed. She is now 1 yr old and did get adopted to a great family with 2 dogs. Original testing with dogs looked promising. However after 3 months living with them she never became a fan of the dogs and would hide and moan so she came back into the rescue. Penelope is an incredibly sweet, quirky confident cat who is very playful, loves chin scratches and has no problem setting boundaries when overstimulated. She love cardboard boxes, scratching mat and anything with bells. When she isn't playing, she is sleeping in the sun or watching birds from the window. She has been fully vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for FIV/FELV and is looking for her forever person. Adoption application required and rehoming fee.
