Smoky is a sweet, strong-hearted dog who's been through some tough times and is now in need of a loving home where he can finally feel safe and cared for. He's been neglected but still shows nothing but love and loyalty to the people around him. Great with adults and kids - Smoky is affectionate, gentle, and thrives on human connection. He loves attention and does well in a family environment. Not good with unfamiliar dogs - He can be dog-aggressive, especially with new dogs, so he would do best as the only pet. However, if there's already a dog in the home, Smoky can adapt over time with proper introductions and patience. A little 'nasty in the mouth' - He has a strong personality and can be a little vocal or snappy when frustrated or overstimulated, so he needs an experienced or confident owner who understands boundaries and dog behavior.
