Hi there! I'm Ava, a super sweet 2-year-old Australian Kelpie mix currently in foster care, and I'm ready to find a family to love me forever. I've got the kind of face that melts hearts, but what really makes me special is my personality. I'm friendly, affectionate, full of energy and love cuddles-so much so that I'll happily snuggle up on the couch with my head in your lap or curl up at the end of your bed while you sleep. I've been told I'm very smart (I'm still learning new things, so don't be surprised if I impress you!), I'm housebroken & great when left outside of my crate. Plus, I'm friendly with other dogs, so if you have a canine friend for me to play with, I'll be thrilled. When it comes to people, I just love being around them! One of the best things about me? I absolutely love being outside! It's a bit new to me, but I'm discovering how much fun it is to run around and explore. I would love a family who enjoys spending time outdoors-whether it's playing in the yard, going on walks, or even just hanging out in the sunshine.
