Weight: 17 pounds Gender: male Breed: terrier mix I found him on May 1st at Stater Brothers. He was terrified and running for his life. After getting him home it took a week or so before he started warming up and two weeks before he wagged his tail for the first time. Max is now waiting for his forever family. He has turned into the most wonderful boy. If you're looking for a companion he's the man for the job. He's cautious around new people but once he warms up he'll be your shadow but also not overbearing or demanding of your attention. He's been great with other animals - non reactive to cats, chickens, wild bunnies, and lizards. Indifferent to large dogs and friendly with medium to small dogs. However, very concerned about 60 pound walking rocks (tortoises). He's tolerant of warm baths, sits in my lap for nail trimming, and enjoys brushing. I can walk him off leash and he comes when I call him. He loves playing chase (with someone he trusts), being blown with the leaf blower, and going for walks. If you're responsible, financially stable, and willing to give Max love and care for the next 10-15 years please message me.
