About Dutton

*Must live in Glynn County or surrounding counties for foster to adopt, or be willing to adopt as is* Dutton is a Border Collie and a very special adoption. Dutton was brought to us after being hit by a car. This poor guy had a broken humerus and a luxated hip, both needing repair. Dutton had surgery and is recovering well. Currently, he still favors the right front leg (the leg not injured). In case that wasn't enough trauma, Dutton was also diagnosed as being heartworm positive on arrival. He is a young, purebred Border Collie who has been through so much already. Dutton has been in foster care throughout this entire ordeal, and we have learned a great deal during that time. He is nervous around men, new people, and loud noises. Dutton hates car rides. (Understandable!) He is also housebroken. That's a plus! Dutton has already started heartworm treatment here and will finish it here as well. In the meantime he is available as a foster to adopt.
