About Piper

Piper is a 2.5 yr old Pittie blend. Piper only weighs 30lbs. The picture makes him appear he's much larger. He is very good with other dogs. No cats! He's playful, smart, & oh so sweet! A family, while attending a birthday party looked across the street noticed two dogs living penned up in a small crate, their water was old & muddy, both had been eating their own excrement to stay alive! The lady goes across the street & is actually successful at obtaining the dogs. A friend of theirs offered to let them stay in there large fenced in backyard for a while. Now they are in need of their fenced area back among themselves. Piper had George (listed also-Bernese Mtn. dog) beside him in another small crate. It is amazing how these dogs can forgive one human & absolutely adore their rescuers. He's very playful, very, very sweeeeeet to others, Loves to cuddle with you in a chair or on the sofa! House-training isn't known at this point! Fenced area a must, doggie door is a plus. It is preferred for the adopter to live within 50 miles of Hickory NC! Will consider farther. Application, references, & home check will be done! Very picky where Piper will go. There is so much love, care, & attention that have gone into these two dogs! Would like to have them adopted together, however; they can be adopted separately.
