Gosling is a gorgeous, golden-eyed, gentle, calm and snugly one-year-old, 11.5-pound, male grey and white tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. He loves to cuddle, and follow you around like a dog. Gosling is a very gentle kitty who we think would do well with children because his foster mom likes to dress him up and he's extremely tolerant. Gosling was pulled from Chicago Animal Care and Control after a foster saw him on the euthanasia list. He is currently living in a foster home with five cats and he fits in perfectly. Gosling is healthy, dewormed, deflead, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). When a cat has FIV, their immune system is weaker making them more susceptible to various infections and illness. Cats with the virus can live long and healthy lives if given a healthy diet, and protected with being overly stressed. Gosling is absolutely fine with other cats. Since FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds, Gosling can easily live harmoniously with other cat-friendly cats (FIV or not)0[9]. Gosling has excellent with litter box habits, loves cardboard scratchers and treat time. To meet and possibly adopt Gosling, please fill out an adoption at www.fcacc.org After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet him. His adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control Rescue.
