About Miss Bea

We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) In all my years in rescue(and it is a lot!), I am always amazed at how resilient some dogs are despite horrible, cruel and painful circumstances they have lived through. Some dogs will carry that trauma with them forever in some way or another, yet others like Beatrice just seem to move on as if that atrocity was never a part of their life. Miss Bea is just a year and perhaps 3-4 months old we are told, so still just a baby. And certainly very new in figuring out what a loving and happy life is like! She was at a shelter after being discovered in terrible shape with her 'family.' Bea was only 5 pounds, half of her normal body weight. She was filthy, soaked in urine, and perhaps would not have made it much longer in that situation. Thankfully she ended up in a very safe place. She was bathed(picture), taken to the vet, and caught up on many missed meals!! She was very loved and cared for at the shelter, everyone fell in love with this bouncy little girl!! We are more than happy to have Miss Bea in our care. She recently was spayed and now she is ready for the happiest part of her journey, finding her very own loving family. Bea is 10.6 pounds, and has a terrific appetite, she will run little circles when it is meal time, lol. She is the happiest little girl, loves to play with her toys, loves the other dogs, and has the most perfect Pomeranian Prance! Why walk when you can move like that?? Btw, she is also a terrific lap warmer and adores winding down the day on a waiting lap. Miss Bea is doing very well with her potty training. She does need frequent potty breaks, and we still put potty pads down just in case. She is a smart little girl, she LOVES to play with her other active dog buddies. She also plays fetch, she thinks she is part Labrador! Bea just brings joy, she is such a happy little girl and will be a wonderful companion for some lucky family. She is very social! Bea will be best in a home with an experienced dog owner, someone that does not work long hours, and also someone that is looking for activity and an energetic little companion. Miss Bea will go home with plenty of supplies to help her settle in, even a new pink Unicorn, perhaps her very first toy just for her!! Her adoption fee is $550.
