I found these two black and white kittens on Peoria rd near the I-17 in Phoenix, AZ. It was the hottest part of the day in summer and they were trapped in a box, hidden from any foot traffic on the side of a Ross. I decided to take them in, just to hopefully find a shelter that would take them. I have since learned cats receive no help from any shelters or other organization in Arizona due to the laws regarding strays. Apparently, due to the fact they can independently survive, every shelter i called said to release them as strays. After many disappointing phone calls, I was refered to the humane society who I called and learned they are overflowing with cats and these sweet babies would likely be put down. So, as a final attempt to give the kittens the home they deserve, I am posting this to tell anyone looking to adopt: I have two very sweet older kittens, I cannot keep them due to another kitten I adopted only a few weeks before and the size of my apartment. They are living in my bathroom and need to have a home where they are loved and cared for. Please call or text me if you are interested in taking them, or have any advice for finding them a good home. Thank You.
