About Xoee

I have a 4 year old red husky we are looking to rehome. She is a really good girl, never tried to jump our fence, doesn't dig, she has a mild case of food aggression but if left alone while she eats she is fine. She knows to wait until we say ok to start eating. So we can put the food down and pick it up etc without her reacting. We have chickens and a cat she has never hurt either. She would be best in a home without small dogs though 10 lbs and under. She doesn't like them. She does great at the dog park with medium and large sized dogs. She doesn't pull terribly on a leash at the beginning she might a bit, but then she remembers her manners. She gets walked twice a day, and loves them. She knows sit, stay and down. She has never chewed shoes or destroyed anything other than her own toys. She has bitten one of our older kids which is how we discovered the food aggression. She did not break the skin, but did leave a bruise. Her recall is not the best. She is an independent girl that comes when she wants. (Typical husky in this way). I think both the food aggression and the recall could be improved with time and training as both are mild. Unfortunately we don't have the time needed and want the best place for her to go. We are in Northern Utah. She is a lovey that loves her feet massaged. She is house trained and loves to be outside. She loves hikes, and does ok in the car. (She doesn't love it, but settles and lays down.) She doesn't have any other issues that I am aware of. She loves the snow, she loves fetch, she loves snuggles (on her terms!) I have pics and videos if you'd like to see more of her. She has been very loved. But my husband and I don't have time for her with the kids getting older and moving out. She is spade. And her name is Xoee (pronounced Zoe.)
