About Casper

Background: Casper is a beautiful long-haired black cat, who has the biggest paws we've ever seen! He had lived a tough barn life until we trapped him on a cold snowy day in February 2025. He's been fostered by us since then and is ready for his forever home. Health information: �'ۢ neutered, dewormed, vaccinated (rabies, distemper), microchipped on February 24, 2025 (Central New York Spay-Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP) health records available) �'ۢ flea free �'ۢ negative for FeLV (feline leukemia) �'ۢ positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus): he is currently asymptomatic and gets lysine supplement daily to support his immune system Behavior: �'ۢ litter trained �'ۢ social and affectionate �'ۢ will follow you around �'ۢ sometimes tries to engage in rough play Adoption considerations: �'ۢ a home without small children would probably be better as he still needs to be redirected when he tries to play with your hand/arm/foot like he's a tiny kitten and not a large cat that he is �'ۢ if you already have an FIV positive cat who'd like a friend, Casper would love a chance to be that friend
