About Harper

My name is Harper and I am an affectionate, loving and playful dog looking for a forever home. I love to go on walks and hikes and I am good on a leash. I am very smart and have learned all my basic commands such as heel, sit, down, stay, come, leave it, stop and place. I even know some tricks such as spin and roll over. My ideal person would be one who enjoys the outdoors and would like a hiking or walking companion. I do like my indoor time with my person, chillin' and watching tv then snuggling up in my bed in the house. I like space to run around - a fenced yard is perfect. I am good visiting other dogs for play dates but I am too territorial at home and not good with living with other dogs, especially small ones. My current people are very, very sad that I have to find a new home but I have lost their trust with the other dogs that live here.
