Elvis is a very loving and sweet dog. He loves being around his preferred person. He loves being out in the yard and most days does not like to come in. When he is in the house his favorite activities are to lay on the couch, play with an adult or his bones. He also loves laying on the couch and sprawling out. We have had Elvis for 6 months, we adopted him from the shelter but they were not able to give us much background on him from what they knew. While he is a very sweet dog, he has high anxiety, especially with sudden or quick movements. We do think he was abused before we adopted him, but we do not have definitive proof in regards to this, his body language and actions say he has been. This makes is very difficult for him to be around our tornado of a two year old who runs around, jumps and constantly makes sudden and quick movements. He has struggled bonding with her, this has made it where we have to keep them separated which keeps elvis from a good portion of the house, but he has free run of the back yard when our toddler is not outside playing. We are hoping to rehome him to a kid-free home to allow him to be able to wander freely and enjoy his favorite things he loves to do in the house.
