About Ruby

Ruby is a spirited, 70-pound mix who was rescued from the streets, and she's been a joy in so many ways. She's 18 months old, bursting with energy, and always ready for an adventure. Her boundless curiosity makes her the perfect companion for an active person or family, especially one with space for her to roam and explore. While Ruby is wonderful in countless ways, she thrives best in a home where she can be the only dog or with a calm, mature older dog who can show her the ropes. She's playful, loving, and happiest when she's learning, exploring, or by your side for a long walk through the woods. Loves fetch, walks, runs, and rolling in the sand. She does best in a low key but active environment. Great with older kids as her boundless energy may unintentionally knock a toddler over. She's a little whippersnapper that's for sure. We have just three weeks to find her the perfect forever home, and we're determined to make it a smooth and loving transition.
