Courtesy Posting: X URGENT AT HIGH KILL SHELTER- DEVORE, CA, So Cal 'CLIFF' - ID #A820622 AT SAN BERNARDINO ANIMAL CARE- DEVORE LOCATION- listed as a 9 MONTH, 21 LB PUPPY, but believed to be part CHOW (tongue is partially black) and another short fur breed LIKE JINDO (mislabeled and overlooked as a shepherd). HAS A CURLY SPITZ TAIL and DID WELL IN PLAYGROUP! KENNELED W SMALLER DOGS. NEEDS OUT ASAP. WONDERFUL, ADORABLE PUPPY READY FOR A LOVING, FOREVER HOME, OR A FOSTER AND RESCUE ASAP - SHELTER IS FULL, HIGHER KILL Help! The shelter is asking for help for this friendly boy findly named Cliff who is described by them as 'DOG IS EASILY HANDLED AND DID VERY WELL IN PLAYGROUP ON 6/9/2025. Dog is Bright, Alert, and Responsive. Is eating and drinking within normal limits. Was sent to get neutered, surgery site is clean and dry and e-collar is still intact.' We also have nice video of him doing well with his smaller kennel mates who seem to be unrelated. They too need a good home but may be adopted separately. Cliff was just neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready for a good home. He needs out of the shelter before he declines in the shelter and is added to their euth list suddenly. Until now, he has been totally overlooked because he is likely mislabeled as a shepherd mix. He is only 21 lbs, has a blackish tongue, short fur and a very curly spitz like tail.
