Once a confident dog, Roco is now shy and unsure, especially around new people. However, with the right person, someone experienced with heelers and patient enough to give him time, Roco has the potential to blossom into the happy, trusting companion he once was. He thrives in calm, quiet environments and loves spending time outside where he can explore at his own pace. One of his greatest comforts is his buddy Monkey, another shelter dog, who brings out glimpses of his playful side. Roco isn't the kind of dog who will warm up instantly, but for someone willing to earn his trust, the reward will be a deeply loyal and devoted friend. He needs a family that will understand his journey and allow him to open up on his own terms.
