Meet Susie - A Loyal Companion Looking for Her Forever Home ��%90%BE Susie is a beautiful German Shepherd, approximately 7-8 years old. Her exact birthday is unknown, but she's spent the last few years with us after being rescued from an apartment in Michigan. She's had a few different homes over her life, and we're hoping to finally find her the stable, loving forever home she deserves. ���� Personality & Preferences: �'ۢ Susie is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and thrives on human attention. �'ۢ She loves playing ball and going for walks these are her favorite ways to bond and release energy. �'ۢ She's very vocal and can be clingy, often following her person around for comfort and connection. �'ۢ She's great with kids and enjoys being around people. ��%8F%A0 Ideal Home: �'ۢ Susie is not suited for apartment living or use as an ESA (emotional support animal) in close quarters she needs space and structure. �'ۢ She must be the only dog in the home. In 2022, she was attacked by two pit bulls and a Rottweiler, and since then she's developed PTSD and has shown dominant behavior around other large dogs. We haven't had the chance to fully test her with smaller dogs. �'ۢ She has lived with a cat previously and did well, though careful introductions would still be necessary. ��%8D%BD��%8F Additional Notes: �'ۢ Susie can be food-aggressive with other animals, so she will need a pet-free environment. �'ۢ She is housebroken, has a stable temperament, and loves cuddles and snuggling close. �'ۢ She would thrive in a quiet, structured home where she can feel safe, be mentally stimulated, and receive consistent affection. ���� Susie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted, protective dog who wants to be your shadow.
