About Lucy

Lucy is a precious little gal who is almost 3 years old and weighs 11 pounds! She has good house manners and loves to cuddle under the covers. She is active and loves to run zoomies morning and evening so a fenced in yard is a must for this little rascal! Big dogs make Lucy very nervous but she might love to have a smaller dog as a companion! There are no kids or cats in Lucy's foster home so we cannot tell you if she is good with them or not. If you think Lucy would be the perfect addition to your family, let us know! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
