Red Heeler mix full of life, loyalty, and potential. Always willing to please. He has proven to have a loving, protective, curious personality and would thrive best doing what his breed knows best. Has never shown aggression toward my husband or I, female adults, male adults that visit often, or children. He is cautious with new people and needs slow introductions and exposure to them often. Our delivery truck drivers (UPS/FEDEX) have tried warming up to him, but we haven't succeeded. He's very intelligent and will flourish under someone who has experience with his breed and understands the structure of leadership they require. We live on an acreage, and he has never left our property and is not fenced in. He knows some commands - sit, stay, lay, drop it. This is not an easy decision, but it's the right one for everyone involved. He needs a home where he'll get the attention he deserves.
