No interest in toys, but food-motivated when calm. Needs Training: Impulse control, leash manners, and basic obedience. Experienced, Adult-Only Home Required: No children, no other pets, no dog parks. �٩� Medical Notes Dental disease and skin irritation (pododermatitis) noted. Treatable with ongoing vet care. He's waiting for someone who sees past the barking and into his heart. Opie arrived at MACC as a stray with no known history. During his stay in the care center Opie has been observed to be highly kennel reactive. Noted to pull towards the other dogs in the kennel room and then turn towards the handler jumping up on them and vocalizing with an open mouth. After reacting to dogs Opie will begin to leash bite intensely. Due to the detailed behaviors we recommend an experienced adult only single pet home with no trips to the dog park. What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I'm ready to learn!
