Our Playful, Snuggly Goofball Looking for a New Best Friend ٤ This is Elwood, and letting him go is truly breaking our hearts. He's just about a year old, neutered, and full of life, love, and laughter. Raised by our 6-year-old son, Elwood has been part of our family since he was tiny and he's grown into the funniest little companion we could have asked for. He follows us everywhere like a little furry shadow, always curious, always close. He's got a real sense of humor too - from sitting upright like a person to the way his tubby little belly sways when he chases after rogue flies, he keeps us laughing every day. He has this silly, endearing way about him that's impossible not to love. But as goofy as he is, Elwood has such a sweet and gentle side. He loves to be held and snuggled. The moment you sit down, he's likely to hop into your lap and make himself right at home. He's affectionate, loyal, and just wants to be near his people. The only reason we're looking to rehome him is because our son's allergies and asthma have been getting worse and after lots of doctor visits and heartache, it's become clear that our furry friends are a big part of the issue. It's an incredibly hard decision, but we know it's what's best for our son's health. Elwood deserves a home where he'll be loved and cherished just like he is here where someone will laugh at his antics, snuggle him tight, and let him be his quirky, loving self.
