About Luna

Luna is a 1 year old purebread female Catahoula who is not spayed. Unfortunately my schedule has changed and I no longer have the time for her she deserves. I am on a timeline and am needing to rehome her by the end of this June 2025 because my lease is up and I will have no where to take her with me while looking to rehome her. If im unable to rehome her in that time I will be forced to take her to a shelter and surrender her which I dont want to have to do. She is a high energy dog with a lot of sass but she can also be very sweet. She has some anxiety and is often fearful of strangers but with enough time and patience she usually will warm up to everyone she meets. She has been really good around the dogs shes met but I wouldn't recommend putting her with cats and am unsure how she is with kids as she hasn't been around any. She is not fully housebroken although we have tried some, she knows basic commands and is a very intelligent breed with a lot of potential. She needs someone who has a lot of time for her and has a big yard for her to run around in. I think she has a lot of potential to be a really good dog, she just needs an owner who has the time and patience to make it happen.
