About Huck

The sweetest and extremely smart Dutch shep, around 1 year old now. He loves, loves his ball, loves the water, barks if you don't come 'play' with him. He had lots of training over the last few months and he's gotten fantastic at leash walking. -he spins, sits, lays down and stays in a down stay and place command. He also has learned the beginnings of a competition heel.He DEFINITELY is a working Dutchie and would do wonderful as search and rescue. He was evaluated by a K9 trainer, and he agreed that Huck would do great as search and rescue. I also still think he can be trained in narcotics or FEMA/Airport searches. Very sweet and affectionate. Good on leash and good with cats as he simply ignores them, good with all people. His brother was adopted so quickly- yet, poor Huck is still patiently waiting for his own family.
