Bandit is a 2.5-year-old male Australian Shepherd. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped. We've loved having him as part of our family, but since welcoming a baby, it's become increasingly difficult to meet his needs. His energy level is high, and despite our best efforts, he continues to jump excessively - especially near the baby - creating a safety concern we can no longer manage and we need help with as soon as possible. We recently tried to place him with a new family, but he showed aggression toward their dog, which helped us realize he must be the only pet in the household. He has never shown anything but love towards humans. He's great with older children - our 9-year-old adores him - but he's not a fit for a home with small kids or other animals. Bandit is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy. He walks well on a leash, listens attentively, and has the most endearing, quirky smile. He just needs an experienced owner who can give him the structure, attention, and exercise his breed thrives on.
