About Cole

Meet Cole, a 10-12 year old, 10 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. It is me, Cole, spreading love and positivity to everyone. Since my last check-in, I have gone to the groomers and received a wonderful makeover. They praised me for being a very good boi and invited me to come back anytime. It's almost time for me to go back and visit them again. Not much has changed since my last pupdate, except the weather. Thunderstorms and their boomers do not bother me. I am proud to say that I am not afraid of a little rain, but I do prefer to stay dry. I also want to share that I am not a barker unless the rest of the foster kids here start barking. Then I just gotta join in and spread the joy. I walk wonderfully on a harness and leash, and I am grateful for the exercise. I prefer being in a backyard with a very secure fence, where I can run freely and enjoy nature. Foster mama says I have a very jaunty walk and she thinks it is absolutely adorable. There is a pool here, and I enjoy walking around it, feeling the sun on my fur. I have never tried to walk into it or fall into it, and I am proud of my self-control. One of my favorite hobbies is trying to catch flies, and sometimes I succeed, but sometimes the other foster kids here snatch it up first. It's all about having fun and enjoying life. I still love to be by my foster mom all the time, and I cherish every moment we spend together. I do not play with toys, but I love to play with hearts. I only bark when I can't find you or if we're all outside and I want to get let in, because I just want to be close to you. I still do not jump off of couches or beds, so you'll have to pick me up and put me on them, and I am grateful for your care. Foster mom has tried to teach me how to climb up stairs and ramp to the couch or bed, but I am just not interested in doing that, because I just want foster mom to pick me up and cuddle me. I will lie down right next to you and kiss your leg for a long time if you let me, because I love to show affection. My tongue hangs out because I have no teeth, but that does not stop me from eating small, hard kibble and the homemade food FM makes for us, because I am a survivor and I make the most of every situation. I am just a very easy-going guy who just wants to be your best friend and Velcro dog, and I promise to bring joy and love into your life. I won't ask for much from you, except for lots of love, a nice backyard to use my sniffer on and discover all the outdoor scents that the world has to offer, to be able to sleep right by you in your bed or on the couch, because it makes me feel so secure and loved. I love breakfast, dinner, treats, and pizza bones, because food is love. What is a pizza bone, you may ask? Well, those are the crust of a pizza, and they are delicious. I am such a laid-back guy that FM has sometimes had to wake me up to eat supper and breakfast, because I love to sleep and dream of all the wonderful things in life. I am also a very low-energy boi, if you're looking for just a chill dog to become your best friend. I'd like for my furever Pawrent to be retired or work from home, preferably, but that's not a deal-breaker, because love is all that matters.
