Huckle is a two-year-old, eight-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix with a quiet charm and a gentle, soulful nature. While he's made huge strides in foster care, Huckle still takes time to warm up, especially with men. He feels safest with women and gravitates toward calm, nurturing energy. Once he feels comfortable, Huckle's personality blossoms. He's quirky and endearing, obsessed with toys (often choosing the toy box over a dog bed for naps), and finds joy in the little things. He adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine friend to keep him company. He's also cat-friendly and enjoys peaceful time outside, sniffing around the yard at his own pace. Because Huckle can be timid in fast-paced environments, he would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, respectful children. Toddlers and young kids are a bit too overwhelming for his sensitive nature. Huckle is making great progress with potty training using a mix of potty pads and outdoor breaks. He is kennel trained, quiet, and easy to have around, especially if he is surrounded by soft blankets, sunshine, and patient hearts. Huckle is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
