About Jax

Jax is a happy and high energy boy. He prefers to be an only dog so he doesn't have any competition with other dogs. He is very dominant and would like to have a job (scent training for SAR or natural shed, agility, herding etc.) He is a VERY quick learner and likes having routine. We have done a lot of obedience training with him due to food aggression and his very dominant side and he does really well but we also think the more training he does the better off he will continue to be. Although, it's stated that he's good with kids and adults, it would be better that the kid be older so they understand to leave Jax alone while he's eating or having a treat, we continue to work with him to make him feel more at ease. While Jax has a couple things to work on, he can also be a very silly and entertaining dog and we love that about him. We really want him to go to the best home possible and we want him to have an owner that gives him the time that he needs to be the best dog he can be.
