About Zeus

Zeus is a 2yr old Rottweiler male. I've had him since he was 10 weeks old. He is good with cats (grew up with 2) and mostly great with people. He does get defensive when people are nervous or scared around him. He is not aggressive and has never bitten anyone but he will growl when people are apprehensive of him; he can't understand why anyone would fear him, since he is a sweet and loving dog. He's not great with other dogs, not aggressive but will react if they get in his space. He would do best as an only dog. He has very little experience with children but has not shown any aggression/ concerning behavior in the limited interaction he's had with my GF's 3yr old. No formal training but very well housebroken, comes when called and generally listens well. Minor chewing issues (furniture, sheets) when not provided with bones/chew toys. He's very mellow and not a high energy dog. A long walk or throw the ball for 20 minutes and he's a happy camper. Due to changes in my job I will be traveling too much to give him the time and energy he deserves.
