Meet Carl Beck, a 10-year-old Chorkie-mostly Chihuahua with a possible hint of Yorkie-who weighs just 5.5 pounds and could benefit from gaining a little weight. This tiny senior pup came to us from a shelter and has shown himself to be calm, shy, and somewhat independent. While he enjoys his quiet time, Carl also craves attention and, with patience and love, will form a strong bond with his person. He can be a bit of a slippery escape artist, so extra care is needed around doors to keep him safe-likely one of the reasons he ended up in the shelter in the first place. Now living in a foster home, Carl gets along well with other dogs and would likely do fine with cats, too. However, due to his small size and sensitivity to loud noises and sudden movements, we ask that families with young children not apply. Carl is a smart little guy who loves exploring new scents and would enjoy short, gentle walks. Because of his size, he should never be left outside alone. Carl Beck is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has recently had a dental. His adoption fee is $275. To apply, please visit www.misfitsdogrescue.org.
