About Callie

Callie is fully vetted (though not yet spayed), and she's a classic Basset through and through-64 lbs of lovable lap dog energy. She walks well on a leash, adores squeaky toys, and loves to snuggle right up next to you, especially at bedtime. I took her in recently while going through a divorce, thinking I was ready for a companion again, but I've come to realize that both Callie and I are having a hard time adjusting. Her previous home had both cats and dogs and a yard to explore, while I live in a downtown apartment and don't have experience with Bassets specifically-I've always had other breeds.
