Belle is a 1-year-old, 30-pound Beagle/Heeler mix with a heart full of happiness and a tail that never stops wagging! This cheerful girl came into rescue as a local owner surrender after her original owner moved away and never came back for her. But Belle hasn't let her past dim her bright personality - she's ready to start fresh with a family who will never leave her behind. Belle loves to play with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy. She's happiest when she's running in a securely fenced yard, going for walks, or riding along on car adventures. A physically fenced yard is a must to keep this energetic girl safe while she gets her zoomies out! While Belle has mainly been around women and bonds with them quickly, she's a bit slower to warm up to men - but with patience and kindness, she comes around and shows her loving nature. At home, Belle is a pro at settling in. She's kenneled when her foster parents are away and sleeps in bed with them at night - starting with her head on the pillow like a tiny human and somehow ending up under the covers at their feet by morning! Belle is looking for a forever family that will give her the love, time, and play she deserves. She's sweet, smart, and snuggly - the perfect mix of playful energy and bedtime cuddles. Belle is housetrained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
