About Malakai

Malakai a cute playful 13 pound, 12 month old Shih Tzu mix puppy. He is funny, cuddly, loves toys, adventures, walks and snoozing. This guy is one of the cutest and most fun pups we have ever had in rescue. He is house trained, walks well on leash, is off leash recall trained and rides well in a car. Malakai is fostered in Cascadia, OR. We are about one hour from Corvallis, Eugene, Sisters, Salem. About 2 from Portland and Newport. If you are driving from afar, we will meet you part way. Malakai is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-wormed and on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Malakai's adoption fee is $450 We seek active, gentle, warm-hearted, dog savvy folks. Malakai has experienced mistreatment in his past. He shows very little effect from his past, but deserves to have the sweetest life from now on. A great home and must haves for Malakai include: 1. An owned home with a securely 5 foot minimum fenced yard. 2. Folks who have soft hearts for rescue dogs and are dog savvy. 3. Active adopters not gone long hours who will walk Malakai every day and will include him in their fun activities. 4. People who believe in good quality nutrition and great care for their pets. 5. We have not exposed Malakai to any children, but we believe he will do fine with kids over 8 with great dog manners. 6.
