IT TAKES A VILLAGE, AND YOU ARE MINE***Thank you so much [Case opened on 6/11/25]. EXTREMELY URGENT! ON DEATH ROW! ABUSE CASE! PLEASE HELP!!! GOING TO BE KILLED NEXT WEEK! CONVOY, OHIO . (The Relative and my husband are willing to drive up to any distance possible to save him). 3.5 Y/O WHITE GSD (DOB: 10/18/25). His name is ' KINGSTON'. Background: Current Shepherd Parent bred his GSDs and Kingston was one of the puppies, so has had him since birth. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids, but READ BELOW. Good with dogs, but READ BELOW. NOT Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: NO. HIGH ENERGY?: YES . HIGH PREY DRIVE?:UNKNOWN. Currently on Purina One Plus Large Breed food. Weighs 100 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: cuddling - going on walks - chilling on the couch - playing with kids that he knows - playing with dogs that he knows - balls - playing fetch - sleeping in bed with his person - being near his person - chew bones - chew toys.. Socialized with other dogs and/or people?: YES. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!!!): He is usually good with meeting new people, but may be scared at first, but NOT aggressive. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): UNKNOWN . *Good on a Leash?: YES. *Lovable?: VERY. *Eager and fast learner?:YES. This is an incredibly sad situation. Kingston is such a good boy, but he lives in a hostile environment. There is lots of yelling and Kingston does get smacked around, so Abuse is also, sadly, a factor. He is currently living in a home with 3 other GSDs and 5 kids. They have no space, no room. Kingston is High Energy but has nowhere and no means to burn off his energy. The Current Shepherd Parent also brought in another GSD puppy. All dogs are INTACT, with NO ROOM to thrive. Kingston recently nipped the kids' friends a couple times (please keep in mind that these kids also hit Kingston and punch him in the face) when they were over and this is why the Current Shepherd Parent is planning to literally kill him. Kingston is being Quarantined for 10 days since this nip on the leg occurred and will be out of Quarantine on Friday, 6/13 . We are hoping with all of our might that he will have a good loving home to go to straight away as soon as he is out of Quarantine. A family member has stepped up and contacted me in hopes of saving Kingston and getting him out of there and in a great loving home that he needs to thrive. The relative has also let me know that the Current Shepherd Parent has actually even said that he is not going to waste money to have Kingston euthanized, that he will just sh**t him in the head. Absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting! This is NOT Kingston's fault. He is NOT in the environment that he needs to be in. He needs a great loving home with room and space, someone kind and loving with time to give him the love and attention that he needs and deserves. Kingston has always loved kids and other dogs. Kingston just needs to be in the right home and environment. He would sleep in the bed with the kids every night before this happened. This is absolutely heartbreaking what he is going through.
