About POPPY

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet POPPY ! She is an adorable 1 to 1.5 year old Australian Kelpie mix and only ~25 lbs. She is sweet and loving to humans/strangers. She has a gentle mouth so could be good with kids. She needs refresher and practice on 'sit' and 'down', but seems smart and willing to please especially for a treat. We learned a lot about POPPY recently when she scored a home for her to recover in post-spay surgery. She has been a perfect angel with the resident big dog...no need to keep them separate ever! She is house-trained, crate-trained, quiet, and sleeps through the night ! She minds her people and calms when her pack requires it. She is not a picky eater and enjoys her chews and treats (see video). She knows how to work on a stuffed Kong too. She walks well with the resident dog, but has a lot to say when we see dogs on our walk. She is fine when she gets up close to them, however. She is a good car-rider too.
