About Arlo

It is with so much sadness in my heart that I post this. We are looking to rehome Arlo to his forever home. After a year and many tries to getting him to fit in, it's just not working out the way we hoped. He is such a smart, sweet amazing dog. He's very food motivated, loves car rides and walks, doesn't mind the couch but will hop up for snuggles (warranted or unwarranted). He is potty trained, he does circles and barks by the back door when he needs to go. He is also kennel trained. Trained on a leash and has amazing recall. He is starting to get territorial about me (his owner) around our kids and other dogs, he doesn't mesh well with our other two dogs. Ideally, Arlo needs a home of an active person who can give him and only him all their attention. He is what some may say�'�| an attention whore and I think that is where his 'aggression' stems from. He is just protective and loyal to his people when it comes to other dogs. I use quotations, because he is not very mean aggressive but I worry it could turn that way if he doesn't find his proper home. This would be his fourth home, so it is something that would take time, and proper introduction to you. He growls at children and other dogs if they get close me (the owner). He doesn't like his feet touched. He does amazing at the groomers. He is an australian sheppard / corgi mix. He is roughly 3-4 years old. He deserves a forever home so much. He will come with his own kennel as well.
