About HANK

WOOF! I'M HANK! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old Labrador Retriever-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I'm a smart, mellow, loyal and loving dog who has been overlooked for far too long! I can be a bit shy when I first meet you, and when I go to my new home, will need some time to adjust with a patient person or people. Unexpected noises etc. scare me a bit, so I would do best in a quiet environment where I can feel secure, with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm also independent and not super needy, and I love to go for walks. I am strong so could use a strong owner. I do get along with other dogs (see video with my brother Holt, who also needs a home), but would probably do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California but can be transported to Northern Cal. Please email for an application.
