About Richard

Richard is a sweet, fun-loving and gregarious young (2-year-old) aussiedoodle. He makes friends with everyone he meets. He enjoys long walks, water play, fetch, keep-away, and tag. He is very intelligent and good at following commands. He is completely house trained (never has accidents and never chews) and crate trained (loves his crate). Richard joined our family a year ago. He originally belonged to a family friend who was no longer able to care for him. He has loved being in our family with our other dog and two kids. He also loves all of the neighborhood kids who swarm him when he is out and about. Unfortunately, we don't feel that we have the time to take good care of him. He is highly intelligent, and requires more stimulation than we are able to provide. An ideal home for him would be a young person, couple, or family who can dedicate the time (1+ hour per day) for training, mental stimulation, and walks that he needs.
