About PORTABELLA

Look at how absolutely precious PORTABELLA looks in her photos with her beautiful wreath of flowers around her neck. Her frosty face, her pretty smile, and her bright eyes. But she is not so bright at the moment, and is in grave danger of losing her life to pneumonia. Portabella is 8 years old, a sweet, gentlesenior lady who earned herself one of the highest behavior scores a pup can get - the Level 2 - but she is sick with pneumonia and her prognosis is not looking good if she cannot leave the shelter immediately and get the care she needs to not only heal, but to thrive. Imagine how she feels as she sits in her kennel, trying hard to breathe, not a living soul to sit by her and cuddle and comfort her. And her miserable parent gave her up without even leaving any notes about how great she is, only that they were giving her up because of 'the dog's health - allergies.' Well know this poor girl, who arrived in a painful 'prong collar' may very well lose her life because of their lack of compassion and their selfishness. Please share this good girl far and wide. Portabella needs a family to love her, stand by her, and never throw her away again.
