About Kody

This is Kody. Male Australian Shepherd mix. We think he's about 1 1/2 years old. Located in Tumwater. He is neutered. UTD on shots. Don't know his past history. We got him from joint animal services in Nov. 2024. He is loving and goofy and generally a good boy. He's about 50 lbs. He sleeps on the couch, floor or on the bed. Loves playing ball and getting the fluff out of toys (doesn't eat the fluff, just loves to pull it out). He can get overstimulated because he thinks his 'job' is to protect the house from the front window. He has separation anxiety. Currently in training with Ursula's Lead Me On Training in Lacey. He knows Sit, Down, Touch, Drop it, Wait, Gentle. He is an only dog but seems to get along with other dogs when we're out on walks. Does not like Huskies or German Shepherds. There are no kids in our household but I think he'd like a kid/kids to play. He needs a home that has more space and where he can be more active physically and mentally.
