About Delilah

Delilah's owner had a plan for someone to take her before he moves out of the country but they pulled out last minute. Now he leaves on 6/16 and after being rejected by the local humane society due to her age (10) and some local shelters due to her not being a good fit to be in a shelter at her age he is preparing for the to put her down if he cannot rehome her immediately. About Delilah: Delilah is a 10 year old, spayed, Siberian Husky. She must go to a home without small children or other pets as she does not typically get along with other animals but has at times in the past if the other animal is more submissive. Delilah loves to go on walks and play with squeaky toys(specifically the squeakers themselves). She is energetic but also likes to lounge around the house. She also needs to be leashed at all times unless she is in a fully fenced in and secure area as, like many huskies, she is an escape artist. She is housetrained and currently eats kibble twice a day. Lastly, as you can see in the photo, Delilah has cataracts on both eyes but still sees very well. Please reach out if you are interested in adopting or learning more about Delilah!
