About Bella Mia aka Bella

See picture. Never been trained or socialized except for going to groomer every month or twice a month. I'm 81 and since my husband died Bella and I live with granddaughter in a small room 24/7. I walk Bella about 10-15 mins every other day when my legs let me. She likes to play ball after our walk. She's potty pad trained but will go outside to do her business when I take her. She won't go by herself. She never leaves my side. I lock her in her crate when I have to go to town for appointments. She's ok with that. She barks at everything, the doorbell, people in the house, maintenance workers outside and cats. Where we used to live the cats would sit on the fence and tease her. She'd try to get them. If she saw them in the yard she'd chase them. She's ok with other dogs once she encounters them and they sniff each other. She's only been an inside dog since my husband died a year ago. She's never been around children except for my 5-yr-old great-great-grandson. He's very loud and runs all the time in the house so she barks at him a lot. Bella is scared of loud noises and leery of meeting new people until she meets them. She's never been aggressive or bitten anyone. She loves to be loved on. I talk to her all the time so she knows words and some sign language signs. Loves her belly rubs.
