Please read this post to the end so as not to miss any important information, Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff, about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. Meet Eeyore Eeyore is a dignified and loving 10 year old senior gentleman who is full of affection and loyalty. He is a small statured 58 pounds, and could stand to add a couple pounds. While he may be quiet and gentle, he's incredibly smart and has a quirky sense of humor. Eeyore is the perfect companion for someone looking for a best friend and a protector. He enjoys quiet time, hanging out on the couch, and going on leisurely walks. Even though Eeyore has a mysterious past, he's hopeful that his new family will give him the loving home he deserves. He can be a bit independent, but he's also very affectionate and loves to cuddle up next to his favorite humans. When he gets to know you, he will bury his face into you for pets! Eeyore has met a few dogs here. From those interactions, we think he would do best with a female dog friend, or a guy buddy as mellow as him. Being a senior, he does have some cataracts, and tends to move a little slow. He's very friendly towards people and loves to meet new friends. He may be a senior, but he's got plenty of love, laughter, and loyalty to give to his forever family! Does Eeyore sound like the perfect fit? Come meet him today and experience his gentle and loyal nature for yourself! I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on parasite preventatives. Since I am a senior, I am $87.50 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
