Im urgently looking for a new home for Tex, a 3-year-old male Miniature Pinscher. My grandmother adopted him two years ago as an rescue dog, but she can no longer care for him, and unfortunately, my family is not in a position to take him in ourselves. Tex is a purebred Miniature Pinscher, approximately 3 years old (the adoption agency didn't know his exact DOB). He is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and full of energy. He's a very smart dog (he knows all the basic commands) but he can also be stubborn and defiant. He barks frequently and has a history of food aggression and biting. However, he's made great progress over the last two years and hasn't bitten anyone in over a year. Tex is not suitable for anyone with young children. That being said, he can be a great pet for someone who has the time, patience, and resources to continue working with him. Ideally, he would thrive in a home with a yard and possibly another dog (he gets along well with my dog and has never shown aggression toward other dogs) You can come pick up Tex, along with his bed, crate, toys, and food, for free. We also have all his medical records and adoption papers available.
