We are looking to rehome our senior dog Austin. I really hate that I'm having to make this post because he's a good boy. Austin is a senior dog that we adopted a little over a year ago. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. Although the breed is known for energy, he has slowed down significantly. Our vet's best guess on his age is 9 or 10 years old. He was in a couple of shelters before we adopted him. He is a really good dog. He loves going on rides to the dump, he loves cuddling, he loves playing fetch, and he loves going outside in general. Unfortunately he doesn't get along with our older female dog. We have tried and tried to make it work because we know he's had a rough go at life with him being in shelters. However, we need to do what is best for our family. Austin would be best as an only dog. I can't have anymore harm caused to him or our other dogs. Austin will come with what's left of his senior food, his dog bed, and a large crate. There will be a small rehoming fee as well.
