About Blanche

Meet Blanche !! This adorable little girl is so cute and well behaved. She's a great companion looking for her perfect home. Blanche is a female, 4 year old, Beagle mix. She weighs 25 pounds and is full grown. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives. Blanche has done very well with other dogs of all sizes. She's never met cats so we are unsure how she would do. She's fairly laid back so she may do fine. She has done great with all the kids she has met so far and seems to really love them. She's been good about not jumping up on people or kids. She has done well with potty training. She's been great on car rides. She does good on a leash and is also crate trained. She will sometimes run from you if you're trying to crate her but once crated she's fine. Overall she's really well behaved and easy going. Blanche has a medium energy level. She loves to run around the yard and play but also loves to be held and cuddle. She loves being brushed and really just doing anything with you. She has not had any issues sharing food, treats or toys with people or other dogs. She has not really shown any interest in toys yet. She's more about her people and running the yard with other dogs. Blanche is a really great girl. Already trained and hasn't shown any negative behaviors. An easy dog that would fit well into most families. ***She is currently not very vocal at all but beagles are known for barking, howling etc. If you cannot handle the potential of her becoming a vocal pup then please pick another breed. Beagles have been known to escape yards if left outside unattended. She has not tried that but it's recommended never to leave a hound alone outside. She has been fostered with our other beagle mix Jenny. They are great together if you want two dogs but are also fine to be adopted apart. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA.
